Describe the differences between AC and DC generators
- AC uses slip ring instead of split ring which is more stable.
- Generates a sinusoid as current is not reversed by split ring
- DC uses the same principle but split ring reverses current to produce a bouncing single direction signal
- Several loops out of phase will stabilise the signal
